Canada Life Supports Women's Health

Canada Life

When Canada Life agreed to partner with us on a key project to bring new mammography technology to Regina, we knew we were working with a company that truly believed in our goal of making lives better.
Canada Life’s donation of $50,000 will be used towards replacing older 2D technology with an advanced 3D mammography unit at the Breast Assessment Centre, in Pasqua Hospital. This partnership brings better health care to entire community.

“We’re proud to support Hospitals of Regina as they help improve health outcomes in Saskatchewan women,” Debbie Down, Director, Community Relations, at Canada Life. “Regina’s Breast Assessment Centre provides services that are crucial to women’s health. With this innovative new 3D mammography technology, they’re enhancing the quality of breast screening, leading to quicker, accurate diagnoses.”

“I am thrilled by the support from the community and Canada Life for this project. When we look back 20 years from now, we will say that our mothers, grandmothers, daughters, aunts, friends and sisters received the best diagnostic breast cancer tests available. They didn’t have to be scared, they didn’t have to wait or go through it alone, and they didn’t have to leave their community to find the answers. The technology was right here in Regina.” Jessica Rawn, director, development for Hospitals of Regina Foundation.
