Hospitals of Regina Foundation accepts gifts in kind that are tangible and can be used by our hospitals (such as a used wheelchair) and gifts that can be disposed of for cash (such as real estate).
The fair market value of a gift in kind is determined by the price the property would bring in an open market transaction and all gifts in kind over $1,000 require independent professional valuation that is paid for by the donor if they request a charitable donation tax receipt.
Gifts in kind must be donated directly to the Foundation in order to be receipted, per Canada Revenue Agency rules. For more information, please call the Foundation office at 306-781-7500.
