About Paul Reiser

Comedian, actor, television writer, author and musician, Paul has been a regular presence in our homes and movie theatres for many years. He played the roles of Michael Taylor in the 1980s sitcom My Two Dads, Modell in the 1982 film Diner, Paul Buchman in the sitcom Mad About You which ran from 1992 to 1999, and Detective Jeffrey Friedman in the Beverly Hills Cop franchise.
 
More recently, Reiser has been widely celebrated for his roles in two hit shows for Netflix: Stranger Things - the company’s biggest series of all time - and The Kominsky Method, for which he received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actor.  He also took his first step into superhero glory in  Season 3 of Amazon Prime’s Emmy-nominated The Boys playing “The Legend.”
 
Over the course of his career, Reiser has received multiple Emmys, Golden Globes, American Comedy Awards, and Screen Actors Guild nominations.
 
In 2023, his new comedy “The Problem with People,” which he wrote, produced, and starred in alongside Colm Meaney and Jane Levy was released to accolades and he launched his stand-up comedy special Life, Death & Rice Pudding in 2024.
